The Friedman BE-OD is a compact overdrive pedal designed to replicate the saturated, high-gain tones of a Friedman BE-100 amplifier. It features six controls: Volume, Gain, Tight, Bass, Treble, and Presence, allowing precise shaping of the overdriven signal. The pedal uses true bypass switching and can operate on 9-18V DC center-negative power.At lower gain settings it functions as a dynamic overdrive, while higher settings push into distortion territory with tight low-end response. The Presence control adjusts high-frequency content, and the Tight knob affects low-end tightness and clarity.
