The JHS Colour Box V2 is a studio-grade preamp pedal based on the Neve 1073 console preamp. It works with both instruments and microphones via the combo XLR/1/4" input and includes an output transformer for added warmth. The pedal offers stepped gain stages from +18 dB to +39 dB, a 3-band EQ with shift controls, a hi-pass filter, and a Hi/Lo switch for clean headroom or saturation. It can also pass 48V phantom power to condenser mics. The Colour Box V2 features separate Master and Pre-Vol controls for overall output and gain staging, plus a -20 dB pad. Silent switching eliminates pops, and the Lundahl transformer contributes to its analog character. The pedal runs on standard 9V DC center-negative power.Specifications
