Vertex Steel String Supreme SSS Double Preamp Slight Return Edition - Excellent Condition

The Vertex SSS Double Preamp is a two-channel all-analog preamp based on serial #001 of a Dumble Steel String Singer. Each channel has its own gain, filter, level, and independent EQ section with Bright/Deep and Rock/Jazz switches. Below noon the gain knob gives a fat clean boost; past that it moves into bluesy crunch and light overdrive while the active EQ shapes midrange focus between roughly 800 Hz and 1.2 kHz. Both channels are true-bypass and can be used in front of an amp, into a modeler, or straight into a cab sim/IR loader. The pedal runs on standard 9-18 V center-negative power and draws about 20 mA.
