This Behringer VT999 is a tube overdrive pedal built around a hand-selected Bugera 12AX7B preamp tube. It covers a range from warm blues overdrive to heavier distortion, with a built-in noise gate that can be switched on or off. The three-band EQ and separate gain and master controls let you shape the tone and output level. The pedal runs on a 9V DC supply with a 2 mm negative-center jack and draws about 250 mA.
