The Tone King Ironman II Mini is a reactive load power attenuator designed for tube amps up to 30 watts. It sits between the amp and speaker cabinet, letting you run the amp at full output power for natural overdrive and dynamics while controlling the volume at the speaker. The reactive load and damping factor correction help preserve the amp's response and feel even at low volumes. A footswitchable Solo mode toggles between two preset attenuation levels for quick volume jumps, and a three-position Presence switch adjusts brightness and compression to suit the room or amp. A line-level output provides a signal for recording or feeding another amp, independent of the attenuation setting. The unit is powered only for the Solo LED via 9V DC or internal batteries; the attenuation circuit itself requires no power. It is fixed at 8 ohms input and output impedance. Specifications
