The TASCAM Portastudio 414 is a compact 4-track cassette recorder with an integrated mixer section. It runs at double cassette speed of 9.5 cm/sec and uses dbx noise reduction on all tracks. The unit includes four mic/line inputs with trim controls, two stereo line inputs, a submix input, and two effects sends. Pitch control allows speed adjustment during record or playback, and zero return helps with quick navigation on tape. It supports simultaneous recording on all four tracks and routes the mixer outputs directly to the tape transport.
