The Klark Teknik EQP-KT is a single-channel tube equalizer modeled after the classic Pultec EQP-1A design. It uses a passive two-band EQ section followed by a Class-A tube makeup gain stage with custom MIDAS input and output transformers. The unit provides separate boost and cut controls for low and high frequencies along with variable bandwidth on the high band and switchable frequency selections.Operation is straightforward with independent low and high frequency sections that allow simultaneous boost and cut at different frequencies for the familiar Pultec-style curve shaping. The bypass switch removes only the EQ section from the signal path while keeping the transformers and tube stage active. Power comes from an internal switch-mode supply that accepts 100-240V AC via standard IEC inlet.Specifications
