The Line 6 POD X3 Live combines amp modeling, cab simulation, and a full suite of effects into a floor unit with built-in expression pedal and footswitches. It supports dual signal paths for blending two tones at once, with dedicated controls for amp, cab, mic placement, and effects like distortion, modulation, delay, and reverb. The unit includes an effects loop, USB connectivity for editing and recording, and outputs configurable for live or studio use.Footswitches handle preset recall, effects on/off, and tuner access, while the expression pedal can be assigned to volume, wah, or other parameters. The display shows the signal chain and allows real-time tweaks to drive, EQ, and effect levels without needing external software.
