The Skewer is a treble booster based on the Hornby-Skewes circuit with a silicon transistor for added bite. Skew adjusts the frequency response and gain, Boost sets the output level, and Extra controls the transistor gain for more aggressive breakup. An internal trimmer acts as a master volume, and the circuit includes a noise reduction filter plus anti-pop switching. It runs on a standard 9V center-negative supply or battery at very low current draw and is true bypass. Specifications
