Benson Amps Germanium Boost Excellent Condition with Box

The Benson Amps Germanium Boost is a clean boost built around a temperature-stable germanium transistor with an automatic biasing circuit. It adds a smoother, more detailed character to your signal without the usual temperature drift or artifacts. The single control sets output level, with unity gain around the midpoint and the ability to cut below that or push into overdrive above it. It works well as an always-on tone sweetener, a buffer for long cable runs, or to hit the front end of an amp or other pedals. The circuit maintains high input impedance and headroom so it plays nice with high-output pickups. Power-up takes about ten seconds for the bias circuit to settle. Specifications
