This is the standard Scarlett OctoPre, an 8-channel mic preamp designed to expand any interface with ADAT inputs. It gives you eight Scarlett preamps with clean gain, low noise, and high headroom, plus two front-panel instrument inputs on channels 1 and 2. Use it to track drums, guitars, keys, or vocals straight into your DAW via ADAT at up to 192 kHz.ADAT outputs handle 8 channels at 44.1/48 kHz or 88.2/96 kHz, dropping to 4 channels at higher rates. It also has eight balanced analog line outputs pulled directly from the preamps, so you can run it standalone for live use or feed a console while recording digitally.
