The PreSonus Eureka is a single-channel strip with a discrete Class A preamp, FET compressor, and three-band parametric EQ. It handles mic, line, and instrument inputs with variable impedance on the preamp for different sources. Includes a 20 dB pad, high-pass filter at 80 Hz, and polarity reverse for flexibility in tracking.
The compressor offers standard controls like threshold, ratio, attack, release, and makeup gain, plus a soft/hard knee switch. The EQ provides ±13 dB boost/cut on low (20 Hz-300 Hz), mid (200 Hz-3 kHz), and high (2 kHz-20 kHz) bands with variable Q from 0.4 to 2. Analog VU meters show output level and gain reduction, with balanced XLR and 1/4 TRS outputs.
It's a 1U rack unit designed for studio use, running on standard AC power with internal supply. Solid for warming up vocals or instruments without digital conversion in the analog path.
