Ayan Enterprises "Smooth & Slim"

The Ayan Enterprises Smooth & Slim is a passive EQ pedal designed to tighten up the low end in your amp's tone. It helps eliminate that flabby, loose bass response common in many tube amps like Fenders and Mesa Boogies. You plug it into your signal chain, and it works without any power—straightforward and effective for getting a cleaner, more defined sound.

It features two chicken head knobs: the left one switches between Smooth and Slim modes to adjust the bottom end by inserting a capacitor in the signal path. The right knob offers Normal or Dark settings, where Dark rolls off highs similar to dialing back your guitar's tone pot to about 7, using something like a 33k pot and .022uf cap. John Mayer used one for his tones, often in the Dark setting with single coils.

Great for players chasing that tight, professional amp response without overcomplicating things. It's passive, so no batteries or adapters needed, and it pairs well with humbuckers on Normal or single coils on Dark.
